http://www.amazon.com/Dragon-Ball-Box-Seven/dp/B00576U97Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1372108018&sr=8-1&keywords=dragon+box So is this the FUnimation release of the Dragonbox, with US voices just like the Orange Bricks? Can someone please explain the differences between this and the Orange Brick? If this is 291 uncut remastered as well, what quality difference is there? Are there voice differences? Can you choose between Japanese monologue and FUni dub on the box? Also, how many dragon boxes are there? Up to 7, or are there more? Edited by Coolest, Jun 24 2013, 09:09 PM.

Seven boxes. Product details say the FUNimation dub is on there, as well as Japanese with the option of English subs. quality comparison: http://i.imgur.com/2kux9XQ.png |

Lol, is it just me, or does the Orange Brick look the best and most vibrant on all of those? The dragon box quality is much more grainy. Why is that? The only downside to the Orange Brick is that it's cropped and not the original image size. Edited by Coolest, Jun 24 2013, 09:25 PM.

Orange Brick does look the most vibrant there, but because it removes so much of the grain you get quality like this. |

The Orange Bricks suffer from too much DNR, cropping, and bleached colors. If you don't care about picture quality or you're a dubbie Faulconer fan then it's the perfect release for you. The Dragon Box is a more premium release as each set has identical packaging to the Japanese release which include a hardcover book. Unlike the Orange Bricks, the Dragon Box has the next episode previews, a higher quality Japanese track, and is debatably the best looking release to date. However the Faulconer score isn't included. That shows a much better comparison, especially highlighting the problems you pointed out that plague the bricks. |

Ok, last question. Does the Dragon Box funi released have their Orange Brick DUB? just meaning the voices, not the music score. Like, the same voice actors etc for the english version of the dragon box, or is it all japanese? |

The same FUNimation voice cast should be present. |

Okay. So I guess this is probably something that I should invest in in the future. Do they make the movies in Dragon box form? Or is the only way to get them the three in one DVD releases? |

I'm not sure. I don't think so, but Ani-Nation would know more about this. |

They have not released the original Dragon Ball series or any of the movies in Dragon Box format in America. Only the Dragon Ball Z television series are available in the Dragon Box format. The Dragon Boxes are beautiful and amazing. |

Most of them are around 30-40 on amazon, except one or two which are higher. 120 plus. |

Yeah, those are out of print and have been for a while. Luckily I got them all for 24 dollars a piece. I would recommend them, though. |
